stick sticky STUCK AS F$@K!!!!!!!!

When you're doing A level Art and Design when you're older, there are moment when you just wanna flip everything over adn run away.

You think you are more mature.

You think you can handle it better.

You think you know what you wanna do.

You think you can do better.

At the same time, you know you just have to suck it up and get on with it cuz you know you know nothing.

Well, but I have learnt a very useful lesson in this semester..

Textile is just NOT my thing, no matter what.

It just like a puzzle.

Repeat is the key.

You have to find the beauty in the motif.

I just wanna splash paint all over.

I just wanna draw something that can get people shocked.

Still, at the same time, I was fascinated with all the textile design and artists I got to know and see.

You know, sometimes you don't look really good in clothes you really like.

I guess it's like that. (..Is it?)

It was just beyond my ability and interest.

Enough of excuses, here is my not-so-textily enlarged human cells.

At least I followed the instruction of basic textile skills..

This is one of my final pieces I have to submit tomorrow (this) morning.

Here is another one.

I am just so stuck and I think you can tell.

It just cannot be my final piece.

I don't know.

What would you do when you're totaly stuck and you don't even wanna see it anymore but it can affect your grade?

Random picture, I know, I can't help to smoke my ciggies until it's totaly gone.

Yeah the filter gets kind of soft and yucky as well.

Never mind the cig, but just thought pattern like this would look cool.

And finally, here is a box full of surprise for you.

I was a bit bored behind the counter at work. (but I tell ya, I'm such a good barista!)

Well, it's past midnight now.

Wish me luck.

Paper and a Pen

It doesn't matter if you're shit at drawing, that's no one's business.

It doesn't matter what you draw if that's what you wanna draw.

It doesn't matter what you draw if you're having fun doing it.

You just need scrappy pieces of paper and a crap pen.

But someday, someday I would love to have a fancy sketchbooks and cool pencils..

Alcoholic

I'm  not gonna put any ANY picture this time, just let you know.

I just wondered how many people are told you are alcoholic.

Just wondered.

I was told that when I was alcoholic when I was 17.

In fact I'm writing this while I'm quite drunk.

But the thing is,

people

who got over proper alchol addict whatever,

it's not about quitting alchol.

NO.

Whatever you addicted to,

You don't have to quit it.

It's all about controling yourself, enjoying yourself.

Seriously,

if there are people reading this who had the same problem as me,

I'm not trying to say you should stop drinking but

f**k the people saying "STOP DRINKING" or whatever

Enjoy your drink and regret just the next day, learn the day and remind yourself the day after.

p.s. I'm not a doctor..guess you already know.. take the advice or not take the advice..it's your choise

Dream..On

Had a weird dream.

I was in a B&B (Bed & Breakfast) in a small small town.

People there were so cold and old. Nothing special about the town.

But I just remember it was just so fun packing all the clothes and books and get ready for the holiday. (I don't know why I was packing all the holiday stuff on the holiday though)

When I was a teenager, the first priority was to show off the skin and flirt with boys.

When I started traveling, it was all about comfort.

And now, I don't know what I am.

What you wear sometimes reflects what you are.

Inside of my suitcase changes every year.

It has Spring to Winter.

It has hippie to classy.

It always has my Aerosmith T-shirts collection and it always has a teddy bear my dad bought me.

I think holiday is almost all about the time getting ready and excited about holiday.

Thinking about what would happen.

Thinking about what you're gonna see, eat, buy, experience..

Thank you weired dream and old cold dried-up people in it for making me think of all the trips I've had and will have in the future.

And for making me think of my AWESOME AEROSMITH T-SHIRTS COLLECTION!!!!

From H&M. It was quite expensive-ish for a singlet but I just had to get it.

From Aerosmith concert 2010 in O2 Arena London. It was BRILLIANT!!

Oh, believe me there are much more! (I don't think I would upload every single one though)

Stages of Hallucination

I hope everyone is suffering form vicious hangover because I am and it's half 8 in the evening.

Do you know the best hangover cure?

MORE ALCHOL.

I saw a picture of Macaulay Carson Culkin the precious boy in Home Alone.

What happened to him!? He looks proper stoned!!

It consists of mono printing, painting, collage and plastic bonding. I have also discovered that ink goes bronze when it's heated. I truly love it when mistakes or unexpected things could turn out to be the best things in the piece.

Maybe that's what art is about. I don't know.

Shame on the Prince

When I'm in overseas, I realise all the good things about Japan. I love the food, culture, people.. I start to appreciate them and appreciate every chance to meet Japanese people in overseas.

Sometimes there are Japanese people trying not to hang out with people from Japan in overseas because they don't see the point. They wanna be friends with blonde people, tall people, people speak English, people with blue eyes.

Sometimes there are Japanese people trying to date with people from different country because they think it's cool. They wanna shag blonde people, tall people, people speak English, people with blue eyes.

Anyway, I think about Japan more when I'm in overseas, just in general.

Then, I saw the article in English newspaper about "Kabuki Prince" got drunk and got into a punch-up fight.  Embarracing embarrassing. News about a drunken fight across the sea. I just had to rip the newspaper up and this is what happened with the newspaper below.

Banksy Film

I watched Banksy Film "Exit Through The Gift Shop" around Christmas, and what a bizarre but exciting movie!

I thought it would be all about Banksy the mysterious street artist, but NO.

Twisted around, upside down with a hint of thrill and humour, along with great street art.

I'm not gonna talk about the movie in detail because I don't wanna ruin it but it was a brill movie without a doubt.

Is M.B.W. real!?

First Step on the Moon; 21st Century

Do you think Apollo (did I spell it right?) did go to the moon?

Do you think the First Step on the Moon was true?

Do you believe that was filmed in a studio?

I personally..do NOT give a shit.

I don't really know anything about history, but great stuff if some guys did go to the moon with the American flag and tough shit if it was all made up.

Plus it's like 21st century now with all the technologies (again, did I spell it right?), anyone can do anything, create anything and go anywhere without appreciating about it.

Imagine broadcasting the historical moment through your phone..

It would be as easy as this.

Idiot on "Chair"

"Idiot on Chair" is one of my 4 final designs from Mix Media Project. We explored the techniques of mix media; collage, plastic and fabric bonding, mono printing, etc..It was a proper wake up call for me. Me, being straigt-edge and old-fashioned, was like "I'm shit at drawing, I'm shit at arty stuff I can't come up with ideas, I'm just shit at art!!", but it wasn't about that.

Anything could be materials for designs, anything could be inspiration and subject. I'm such a pussy won't say anythings to piss people off so I can just put in on a piece of paper instead. I can't draw like photos so let cameras do the work and I would draw however I like. I just do not give a shit if people can't understand me but appreciate if they do, and the best thing was someone did understand my thoughts, expression and what I wanted to do.

"Your project addresses some strong cultural and political viewpoints and are very personal to you, as they are aesthetically very successful  and visually strong it does not matter to the viewer if the message you are trying to communicate does not always come across. "

The piece (above) consists a mono print of Chair by Allen Jones (below), one of the greatestestest artists I admire. I saw Chair in Liverpool Tate when I didn't know about him or the piece but just caught my eyes straight away and fell in love.

Allen Jones; Chair (1969); Painted plastic and mixed media
object: 775 x 571 x 991 mm, Sculpture

This is one of his Human Furniture collection along with Table and Hat Stand. He captures the beauty of feminineand and fetishism. It takes you to other side of the world. It gets you think, but you can never get the answer.

I just had to include this art piece in my design in the most ironic way I could think of. Well, that would be easy. Let the Japanese Prime minster sit on the Chair. They ssay shit to make themselves look good, they spend tax on whatever they want. Prob some politicians have chairs like that fullfilling their fantasy.. Well shouldn't have said that, it sounds proper sick.

Maybe there's not much thought towards my pieces. I don't know. I did this as I wanted to feature Allen Jones, as I wanted to show that I know fuck all about politics and only thing I know is they are idiots, as I like making collage.. I just don't know but I think i've learnt something..

I would not get blame for being fucked up as long as I put it into some sort of art form!!
